Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFaculty Anesthesiologist PositionOur organization is on the lookout for skilled anesthesiologists who possess a passion and expertise across various clinical domains to become part of our dynamic team. We are offering Faculty Anesthesiologist positions on either the Clinical or Tenure Track, available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, contingent upon qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows in Anesthesia.
- Deliver didactic education in the field of Anesthesia.
- Facilitate training programs in Anesthesia.
- Provide anesthesiologic care in medical clinics and treatment centers.
- Engage in clinical research within the Anesthesia discipline.
- Offer comprehensive clinical care while participating in a wide range of research activities.
Successful applicants will need to disclose any history of misconduct or ongoing investigations related to research misconduct, including but not limited to sexual misconduct from previous employment. Additionally, candidates will undergo a criminal background check and credential verification.
Educational Qualifications- A Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or an equivalent foreign degree is required.
- Completion of a minimum of 36 months in an Anesthesia residency or a comparable postgraduate training program, or an equivalent foreign program. The organization recognizes the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) in Anesthesia as a valid foreign equivalent.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, licensure in the State of Iowa.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is mandatory.
